Minion Master
Minion Master is a tactical board game, where players battle with armies of miniatures summoned and controlled via a customisable deck of cards. It is currently available from the website and on Desura, with a campaign for Steam Greenlight running.
SimCity Developers’ Reddit AMA Backfires over Always-Online DRM
The SimCity dev team held a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Friday, ready to answer fans’ questions about the game.
However, the game’s always-on DRM came back to bite them when one fan asked what would happen if they were to lose internet connectivity while playing. The first response from MaxisKip stated that the game would “handle ‘short’ internet outages gracefully”, but the clarification of ‘short’ was rather disappointing: “We will allow you to play for as long as we can preserve your game state. Hawken Enters Open Beta
Hawken, the free to play mech-based shooter by Meteor Entertainment and Adhesive Games, has now entered open beta.
Players take on the role of the pilot of a giant robotic war machine, battling against other mechs across ruined cities and desert canyons. Mechs are customisable, with differing chassis sizes and weapon loadouts, and can be upgraded as you progress and unlock bonuses.

Space Hulk Returns in 2013
Independent studio Full Control, in association with Games Workshop, will be bringing the legendary Space Hulk to PC, Mac and iOS systems in 2013!

Planet Explorers
Planet Explorers is an open world, voxel based, sandbox adventure RPG in development by Pathea; alpha 0.41 is available for download now.
The game uses a new OpenCL system based on the Unity 3D engine, and allows players to modify the terrain and create new objects in any form, wherever they like.. check out the Build and Create trailer:

ZombiU!
We got our Wii U last week, but what I really wanted.. actually, what I’d wanted since I first heard of it.. was ZombiU, Ubisoft’s survival horror set in the middle of London!
Rather than jump in at the deep end with the hardcore Survival mode, I decided to try the normal game mode first, where the game provides you with a new survivor if you die. Just as well, because my first survivor died almost immediately, dragged off that first ladder by the ravenous horde! The poor guy didn’t stand a chance! (more…)
