VGA 10 Trailers and Info Round-Up!
This year’s Video Game Awards, shown last night, was also the 10th anniversary of the VGAs. This year’s show was hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, and I have to just ask the question.. Why pick a host known for non-stop swearing, if you then have to censor half of what he says? Anyways, I didn’t enjoy last year’s show at all.. so this time I’ve skipped through the show’s episodes on GameTrailers, looking for the interesting bits.. i.e., the trailers and news!
The first trailer was for Obsidian Entertainment‘s South Park: The Stick of Truth (from 4.54), and a rather interesting announcement trailer for The Phantom Pain, the debut game from Moby Dick Studios (from 10.45)!
Halo 4 Tops UK Chart
Following its launch last week, Halo 4 debuted in the top spot of the UK chart, knocking Assassin’s Creed III down to second place. The other new entry for the week was LittleBigPlanet Karting, in at 24th.
However, Halo 4 sold less during the launch week than Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, despite launching earlier in the week than normal.
Halo 4 and Other Things
Halo 4 was released this morning, exclusively for the Xbox 360. The story picks up four years following the events of Halo 3, with Master Chief now shipwrecked and facing new enemies..

E3 2012
It’s E3 time again.. the first day starting off with conferences from Microsoft and Sony. I’ve been waiting for more info on a few games, but E3 is usually good for info on new games too..
Microsoft showed footage from 360-exclusive Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II, due for release in November, Resident Evil 6, due in October, and Tomb Raider, Spring 2013.
