Bethesda have announced that there are three DLC packs to come for Dishonored, starting with the first pack, Dunwell City Trials, coming in December. This pack will add 10 challenge maps, including an arena battle vs AI, a set of drop assassinations, and a race against the clock.

Borderlands 2’s first DLC, the Mechromancer, has been released early and is available today!
Gaige, the Mechromancer, is a new playable character with her own skill tree and abilities as well as a summonable pet robot, Deathtrap. Those who preordered Borderlands 2 will get this DLC for free; otherwise it costs £8 on PC, or 800 MSP on the Xbox.
Borderlands 2 DLC and Season Pass
Gearbox have announced that Borderlands 2 is to receive four add-on campaigns after the launch of the game on September 21st, priced at 800MSP or $9.99 each, or available all together in the Season Pass bundle for 2400 MSP / $29.99.
The four add-on packs are scheduled to arrive by June 2013; more details to follow.
Iron Brigade
We recently acquired Iron Brigade, a World War I style tower defense-shooter hybrid with mechs and turrets, and a television-based enemy called the Monovision. I spotted this game a long time back, when it was known as Trenched, because of the developer Double Fine who came up with this game as well as Costume Quest and Stacking during one fortnight of development. A trademark dispute in Europe resulted in a name change, and a delay to the release: December last year on the Xbox, but only this month for the PC.. and another rather quiet release too.
Dungeon Defenders – Jester Hero DLC Free!
The Jester Hero DLC for Dungeon Defenders is free on Steam until Weds 22nd August!
E3 2012
It’s E3 time again.. the first day starting off with conferences from Microsoft and Sony. I’ve been waiting for more info on a few games, but E3 is usually good for info on new games too..
Microsoft showed footage from 360-exclusive Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II, due for release in November, Resident Evil 6, due in October, and Tomb Raider, Spring 2013.

Max Payne 3, Tomb Raider, and More Bundles
Rockstar Games’ Max Payne 3 is out today.. along with the Rockstar Pass, which provides access to all the planned DLC as it is released over the year: five map packs, and Deathmatch and Co-op modes have been confirmed this far. Max Payne 3 is on my wanted list, but I’m probably going to wait for a Game of the Year edition.
Tomb Raider‘s release date has also finally been announced: 5th March 2013, worldwide! There’s also a new trailer out, with some gameplay showing poor Lara being put through her paces!

Also out at the moment: three more indie bundles! These are the Indie Royale’s Graduation Bundle, the Bundle in a Box, and the fifth Humble Indie Bundle! (more…)
DLC Quest and Lair of the Evildoer
The latest Indie Royale bundle is The St. Patricks Day Bundle: pay what you want for five games: Hard Reset, Jolly Rover, Vertex Dispenser, DLC Quest and Lair of the Evildoer! Hard Reset, Jolly Rover and Vertex Dispenser came with Steam keys, while DLC Quest and Lair of the Evildoer were available through Desura or via download.
I played Going Loud Studios‘ DLC Quest first, a platform action game which takes a rather amusing swipe at the games industry and the increasing use of DLC, as well as gamers’ fears that we’re being exploited by DLC.
