A new year, and more new games to look forward to!
The year starts off with DMC: Devil May Cry in mid-Jan, and a few other games expected, but without confirmed dates: Frictional Games’ survival horror Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, The Cave, an adventure game from Ron Gilbert and Double Fine, and Paradox’ Dungeon Keeper-style game, Impire!
February sees the arrival of EA and Visceral Games’ Dead Space 3, which add co-op play and weapon crafting to the series, and Crytek’s Crysis 3, using the new CryEngine 3.
March is a rather busy month.. there’s Metro: Last Light, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, Gears of War: Judgement, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, Sim City, Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite! Tomb Raider’s first multiplayer details have now been revealed: Team Deathmatch and two objective modes called Rescue and Cry for Help.
Digital Extremes’ Star Trek is due in April along with Deep Silver’s standalone zombie game Dead Island: Riptide.. and in May, there’s South Park: The Stick of Truth and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us!
There are many more games expected during the year.. including The Elder Scrolls Online, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Devil’s Third, Fortnite, Carmageddon: Reincarnation, Watch Dogs, Wasteland 2, and more The Walking Dead!
And of course, this is the year we may see the next Xbox, following speculation after a tweet by Major Nelson revealed a timer counting down the days and hours to E3 2013!
