E3 2015 – Square Enix

Square Enix began their E3 2015 conference with the announcement of action role-playing game NieR New Project (temporary name) for PlayStation 4.

The original NieR was released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010, and while this game isn’t a direct sequel, it is set in the same world with some returning characters.

More Rise of the Tomb Raider footage was shown off..

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive for Xbox 360 and Xbox One with a release date of 10 November 2015, but it will be available on PC and PS4 later.

Lara Croft GO was revealed..

Lara Croft GO is a turn-based puzzle adventure for smartphones and tablets, due later this year.

Square Enix announced their latest Kingdom Hearts game, Kingdom Hearts χ, which has been designed for iOS and Android.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, prequel to the Kingdom Hearts series, is a role playing game which takes place during the Keyblade War.  It will be free to play but with in-app purchases.

Fans will see Sora and his trusted friends, Donald Duck and Goofy, adventure through the world based on the hit animated feature film, Tangled.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness was announced for North America and Europe.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is an action RPG, in development by Tri-Ace and Square Enix for the PS3 and PS4.

There was a new trailer for upcoming open world action-adventure game Just Cause 3 , coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 1 December 2015.

Square Enix announced World of Final Fantasy, an upcoming game in the Final Fantasy series, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita due during 2016.

World of Final Fantasy combines classic RPG gameplay mechanics with fresh and imaginative toy-like visuals.  Players will lead a pair of twins through varied Final Fantasy worlds and encounter, capture and raise such familiar beasts as cactuar, chocobo, and behemoth to discover alternate forms and learn new abilities.

The first gameplay trailer for Hitman was shown, with a little stealth and a little combat.

The first in-game trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was shown too.

Set two years after Human Revolution, Mankind Divided features the return of Adam Jensen, with new technology and body augmentations.  Now an experienced covert operative, Adam Jensen is forced to operate in a world where augmented humans have been outcast, hated by society.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the first half of 2016.

The last reveal of the conference was a new IP titled Project Setsuna, in development at a new studio called Tokyo RPG Factory.  The game, a console RPG, is due in 2016.
