Double Fine’s Amnesia Fortnight
Voting for Double Fine’s Amnesia Fortnight began last week, with twenty three game ideas on offer; the top four to be worked on over the next two weeks with a live stream of development available to watch!
The winning entries have now been determined: Hack n’ Slash, an adventure RPG which allows players to hack the game on the fly; Spacebase DF-9, a space sim with building tools; The White Birch, an ambient platform exploration game; and Autonomous, a sandbox construction game with robots.
Contributors will be able to download and play prototypes of the four when the project finishes, as well as prototypes for earlier Amnesia Fortnight games: Costume Quest, released as a full game in 2010; Happy Song, released as Once Upon a Monster in 2011; and Brazen, a 4 player co-op action game still in development at Double Fine.
