Rebel Galaxy Review – So Long, Space Cowboy.

Disclaimer: The key for this review was provided to us by the developer, Double Damage Games.

Rebel Galaxy is a recently released space based, action orientated RPG from developers Double Damage Games, a two-man studio composed of two of the founders of Runic Games (Torchlight, Torchlight II).

The game itself has taken a fair chunk of my time over the last few weeks, but I feel I’m now ready to give it a true review.

Rebel Galaxy – Thoughts, Feelings, and Laser Kittens!

I’ve got a review on the go for Double Damage‘s Rebel Galaxy, however I’ve currently sunk around 12 hours into the game and I still have miles to go by the looks of it. I dislike finalizing a review until I’ve played a game from start to finish, however I feel a current thoughts post on the issue wouldnt go amiss.

Vermintide Review – Rats in the Belfry

Disclaimer: The keys for this review were provided by the developer, Fatshark Games.

Well this one took me longer than expected as I wanted to get a decent play through of the release version of Vermintide, and unfortunately a weekend with intermittent internet coupled with the recent patches to the game (and some downtime of the central servers) hampered that for me.

Never fear however, connectivity has been restored and I’ve been able to get in some rat bashing to give me a decent perspective on Fatsharks Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide.

If you haven’t done so already, you can read Kris thoughts on the Vermintide beta here, and my thoughts here, then on top of that my first thoughts on the launch can be found here.

Duskers In Real Life for Halloween

Misfits Attic have two treats in store for Halloween.. the first of which is that they are doing Duskers “in real life” for Halloweeen, by streaming live robots controlled by Twitch, exploring a constructed derelict ship!

Epsilon Dev Serellan and Operation Supply Drop Join Forces

A disabled-veteran-owned business, developer Serellan has donated 1,000 copies of their stealth-action tactical shooter EPSILON to Operation Supply Drop, with an additional copy of the game donated for each copy sold on Steam. EPSILON will be donated to deployed active duty servicemembers and disabled veterans in need of entertainment and cathartic activities abroad.

Vermintide Launch – First Thoughts

Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide officially launched on the 23rd of October. Unfortunately I was away most of the weekend so didn’t really get chance to sit down and play much of it, and I’m still playing catch up for a full review.

That said however, of what I have played so far  since launch, all of the positive items covered by Kris’ first look as well as my own still stand. The combat still caries that same weight, and the game play is still ridiculously fun!
